It's hard to talk about myself when I'm changing as quickly as the world around me. I'm Palina (25, she/they), born in Belarus and lived there for most of my life, until political persecution forced me to flee, first to Latvia, then to Poland, where I currently live. I've been a long-time member of the Belarusian Young Greens and have been connected with the Federation of Young European Greens since 2019. I sincerely dream of returning to a Belarus free from dictatorship.

Passionate about sustainability in both my professional and personal life, I’m curious about what motivates people to adopt sustainable behavior in their daily lives and engage with environmental issues. I’m Kristina (she/her), a 25-year-old originally from Bulgaria, and I’ve recently moved to the Netherlands. In my free time, you’ll find me staying active with aerial yoga, strength workouts at the gym, or relaxing with a book in hand.

FYEG’s slogan "Fight For Joy” fits me perfectly, I’m in politics for the right of everyone to be happy, or at least to ensure life doesn’t hurt us. I recently started working in communications for a Green MEP in the European Parliament, while also being the co-spokesperson for the Young Greens of Spain. I’m passionate about music, Social Justice and Queer Issues. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends as much as possible.

Fighting for a fair economic system and green transition — one of the many things that make me happy;) I’m Vitaliia, 24, a green marxist from Ukraine. Currently doing a policy research via FYEG Beyond Growth Platform and work for energy sector in my country. Apart from fighting for a post-growth society and working in energy, I love to travel, learning languages and cultural exchanges.

My name is Ben Ryan (he/him) and I am a 27 year old Green activist from Ireland. I studied International Development in University before moving to Brussels to work in the Green European Journal. I’m now living in Dublin and working for an Irish Green MP and helping to further grow the Irish and European Young Greens. I’m particularly interested in economics, inequality, colonialism, security issues and the sea.
